Bring back your Imagination

Why you need to bring back your Imagination

bring back your imagination

bring back your imagination

Do you remember this song from years ago?

The Logical Song

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful,
A miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they’d be singing so happily,
Joyfully, playfully watching me.
But then they send me away to teach me how to be sensible,
Logical, responsible, practical.
And they showed me a world where I could be so dependable,
Clinical, intellectual, cynical. There are times when all the world’s asleep,
The questions run too deep
For such a simple man.
Won’t you please, please tell me what we’ve learned
I know it sounds absurd
But please tell me who I am.

Now watch what you say or they’ll be calling you a radical,
Liberal, fanatical, criminal.
Won’t you sign up your name, we’d like to feel you’re
Acceptable, respectable, presentable, a vegetable!

At night, when all the world’s asleep,
The questions run so deep
For such a simple man.
Won’t you please, please tell me what we’ve learned
I know it sounds absurd
But please tell me who I am.

It may seem far fetched but this song has become more and more relevant as time has gone on.  This is why you need to bring back your imagination.  Life is too short to do otherwise.

5 Tangible ideas to bring back your imagination

Here are some ideas on how to resurrect that imagination that might surprise you:

1) take a different way to and from work – just the process of engaging your mind with this variety can unlock new possibilities,

2) work crossword puzzles and word finds – this will keep your mind active and ready to dream,

3) get enough sleep – that’s 7 to 8 hours for most people – it’s hard to dream when you are not dreaming, I recently wrote a song in my sleep.  What happened was I had a dream that the lead singer from my band, Marble Park was teaching me a song.  When I woke up I realized that the song was a new one.  Fortunately, I keep my iPhone next to my bed so I immediately sang the song into the voice recorder on my phone!

4) hang  pictures upside down – that simple mind trick will tap into your creative juices, and it will also make great conversation when your friends come to visit

5) give yourself time to think – sounds pretty simple but in this fast paced world taking time to think is not as easy as it seems.  I remember reading a book by Robert Kiyosaki call Retire Rich, Retire Young.  In that book he spoke about creating a 10 thousand dollar residual income and how it changed his life.  You see, his living expenses were only 5 thousand dollars so he was able to leave the rat race!  The primary benefit of this transition, according to Robert, was that it gave him time to think.  The result of this time to think?  The RichDad empire which has touched people around the world!

I know what you are thinking, that is good for Kiyosaki but how do I find a way to create the kind of residual income he did so that I can have time to think?!?!?!!
Well, there are many ways but let me show you what I consider the best one I have ever found to help you bring back your imagination:
